Ein Eurasischer Luchs (Lynx lynx) der wieder in unseren Wäldern leben möchte.
Noch sind die deutschen Luchspopulationen viel zu klein und voneinander isoliert um dauerhaft überlebensfähig zu sein. Daher ist es notwendig Luchsschutzprojekte, wie die des Luchs Bayern e.V., zu unterstützen, um eine erfolgreiche Wiederansiedelung zu ermöglichen.
Aktuell liegen gesicherte Nachweise aus dem Pfälzerwald, dem Schwarzwald und den deutsch-tschechischen Grenzwäldern (Bayerischer Wald, Erzgebirge, Sächsische Schweiz) vor, wobei sich das bedeutendste Luchsvorkommen in Ostbayern befinden.
Im Nationalpark Harz streifen Luchse dank des Wiederansiedlungsprojektes seit 2000 wieder durch die Wälder.

An Eurasian lynx (Lynx lynx) that wants to live in our forests.
The German lynx populations are still far too small and isolated from each other to survive in the long term. Therefore, it is necessary to support lynx conservation projects, such as those of Luchs Bayern e.V., to enable a successful reintroduction.
Currently, there are confirmed records from the Palatinate Forest, the Black Forest and the German-Czech border forests (Bavarian Forest, Ore Mountains, Saxon Switzerland), with the most significant lynx occurrence in Eastern Bavaria. In the Harz National Park, lynx have been roaming the forests again since 2000 thanks to the reintroduction project.
